FAQ
What is the difference between a Discount Medical Plan and regular insurance?
American Health and Wellness is NOT insurance. Becoming a member in the plan allows you access to discounts on services you may pay out of pocket for. We contract with local providers to ensure you get the best price for services you may already access, or plan to access in the future.
Where can my discount card be used?
Members of the plan may use their discount plan digital ID card at participating American Health and Wellness providers. If you already have a provider and want to ensure you get the best price on the services you are receiving, you can send us a request to contact your provider and ask them to enroll in the network. Discounts are only available at participating provider locations. Most participating providers will display our logo at their practice.
How soon can I start using my membership card for discounts?
Once you complete the enrollment form, you will receive your digital ID card. You can start receiving discounts immediately at participating provider locations. Be sure to save and present your digital ID card at check in.
What will I have to pay for at the Providers office?
American Health and Wellness Network providers offer discounts to plan members. Plan members will still be responsible for paying the remainder of the cost for the service provided.
